ICYMI: NEW YORK TIMES EXPOSES TRUMP’S DECADES OF TAX EVASIONS AND SCHEMES

WHY WON’T HE RELEASE HIS TAX RETURNS?

SARASOTA — The bombshell report from The New York Times shows that Donald Trump received $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, much of which came from dubious tax schemes. The Times describes Trump’s actions as “outright fraud,” and yet we still don’t know the full extent of Trump’s financial dealings. Donald Trump must release his tax returns, and move to repeal the disastrous tax breaks Congress passed last year.

Floridians for a Fair Shake Communications Director Stephen Gaskill released the following statement on Trump’s tax scams:

“We’ve always suspected Donald Trump is a con man, but never have we seen such an exhaustive, comprehensive catalog of schemes and deceptions to make the case. Trump has benefited from a rigged system he decries on the campaign trail, yet it’s that same rigged system he advances as president. Working families and middle class Floridians are being left at the dock, while Trump and his ethically-challenged cronies like Vern Buchanan sail off into the sunset. This much is clear: Donald Trump must release his tax returns to explain his compromised financial interests. The American people deserve to finally know the truth.”
