MEDIA ADVISORY: BRIAN MAST HEALTH CARE ACCOUNTABILITY RALLY
BRIAN MAST HEALTH CARE ACCOUNTABILITY RALLY WILL HIGHLIGHT HEALTH CARE FEARS AND HORROR STORIES ON ANNIVERSARY OF PASSAGE OF THE HOUSE REPUBLICAN HEALTH CARE BILL
One year ago tomorrow, House Republicans, including Congressman Brian Mast, voted to gut the Affordable Care Act with their replacement, the American Health Care Act (AHCA). The AHCA would have kicked 2 million Floridians off of their health insurance, including 75,000 of Mast’s own constituents, and allowed insurers to discriminate against 7.8 million Floridians with pre-existing conditions, including 272,400 in Mast’s own district.
Health care voters in Brian Mast’s district will rally at his office on the anniversary of the vote to tell their health care horror stories and explain their fears for the future of their health care coverage.
WHAT: Brian Mast Health Care Accountability Rally
WHEN: Friday, May 4
WHERE: Congressman Brian Mast’s district office
121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.
Port St. Lucie
Floridians for a Fair Shake is a grassroots organization formed to educate constituents about Congressmen Brian Mast’s and Vern Buchanan’s votes on health care and taxes.
